I have discovered an awesome new group-planning tool. It’s called Travefy.
I discovered Travefy only recently, when I was planning a group adventure. I wanted a way for the group to see the discoveries I had made during my research, and gain their feedback on likes and dislikes. I also needed a way to clearly outline the individual costs associated of each piece of the itinerary.
Up until now (and I will be blatantly honest here) I was using Excel to do this. Yeah, I know….There’s no easy way to share travel planning information in Excel. Having to copy and paste in links, it is cumbersome. And let’s face it, it’s just downright ugly.
The other challenge I faced was planning a trip not only for us in Sydney, but also to include my mother in law, ‘D’, who is in Texas. I needed it to be simple and very clear, so that little explanation was necessary…You know, time zones and all that.
So, I was faced with the question:
How do you plan a group adventure, make itinerary simple and easy to understand, share the discoveries you’ve found and be crystal clear on individual costs?
Seriously, the question was keeping me up at night.
Then I found the answer: Travefy.
This is an app which makes it easy to find accommodation, rentals, flights and even activities, and lay the itinerary out for all to see. Better yet, it makes it easy for people to come together, understand what their portion of the costs are AND have a really clear way to manage expenses.
Travefy leaves no question about who’s paying for what, or how to reimburse. They’ve taken out the guesswork.
This is one of the best travel planning resources I’ve found for group travel.
Travefy is fresh and new. Now, I did have a few hiccups at first, but what I discovered was Travefy have a great team behind the app. A team who are eager to hear feedback and quick to respond to the issues. I feel as if I’ve been heard. Better yet, since I first started using Travefy, I’ve experienced their updates and this tool just keeps getting better.
Seriously, it’s SOOO cool.
After using Travefy, we decided become an affiliate for Travefy. We believe in their product that much.
Even if that wasn’t the case, I would encourage you to try it.
So, check it out for your next trip…. a camping trip with friends, your next family getaway, your next family reunion…
There are a thousand ways to use this great app… yes, now my head is spinning again. Seriously, I encourage you to check out Travefy.
