Beachcomber was probably the best beach camping location I’ve stayed in. It was exactly what we needed to let go of the Treehouse and all the madness of the prior two weeks. We needed to just ‘be’ for a while. It was so relaxing. We were so drained, exhausted really, but by the time we left, we were refreshed and ready for the next adventure.
Exhausted from the last weeks, we begin our indefinite travel adventure in Canberra, spending the weekend with our daughter. Canberra is always a delight.
Our indefinite adventure begins. Recollections of our departure from Sydney, toward our big adventure of indefinite travel. Wowza.
Despite all the planning, the departure for the full-time adventure wasn’t quite what I had anticipated. Here’s the realistic picture of the start of our full-time, RTW Adventure.
With less than 30 days before we begin our 10 month (re) Discover Australia roadtrip, we’ve calculated our pre-trip costs. We’ve determined a way to travel comfortably, frugally that’s a lot cheaper than buying a campervan and a lot less stress than towing a camper trailer.
This indefinite travel adventure has been a dream for as long as I can remember. I never anticipated the emotional journey it would take to get here.
