After 10 months (re) Discovering Australia, I have pulled 18 destinations together that took my breath away. Even as an Aussie, I was astounded at how breathtakingly beautiful Australia was.
I’ve realised that a list is limiting. It limits you from seeing amazing places that you may not have heard of before and realistically, If I updated the list of places I’m learning about along the way, I would never get to any of them. It would be too overwhelming! So, maybe it’s time to ditch the list and follow my instincts… go with the flow, as it were.
Knowing we wanted to travel for as long as we could, we knew we had to find some way of keeping expenses down. No five star hotels for us. After being on the road awhile, with a number of housesits under our belt, we share our experience.
It’s our second month of travelling indefinitely. We’ve kicked off our 10-month Australian Road Trip and we’re having a great time. We’ve blown the budget in a few spots, but surprisingly not the areas we thought we would. Huh.

While travelling indefinitely, we’re discovering AirBnbs to be invaluable. Not only do they provide space to spread out, constant WiFi and washing facilities, but some offer truly unique stays. For our Aussie 10 month road trip, we’re finding them to be cheaper than holiday parks and hotels! This is definitely the way to go!
